Designing the interior of a home can be a minefield of choice especially when it comes to one of the more essential ingredients in every new home, the flooring. It not only has to blend with all your soft and hard furnishings but give lasting wear and durability. It is after all an investment. It is certainly commercially very fashionable but also no other floor will give you such durability, attractiveness, easy care and resistance to allergies. It is a living material, which with age becomes more attractive and will blend with any decorative style. Fashions and trends may change but a wooden floor will never date and with the right care should last a lifetime.

Laminates floors are generally a direct pressure photo enhanced melamine pare bonded to either a H.D.F.or Chipboard core. These are available in either Plank (one single strip of wood effect across the surface of the panel) 2 Strip and 3 Strip. There are various finishes available from the blond woods of Ash, Oak & Beech to darker finishes of Merbau, Teak and Cherry. Coloured finishes are also available within the ranges.
Wood flooring covers a massive range of different types from 3 Ply Engineered to top end market Solid Flooring. All these floors are available in most species of timber again ranging from the light woods to the darker variety of West African Hardwoods. Consideration must be taken when choosing a floor covering with surrounding décor, cost and durability being priorities. Whether it be a Stick down product where patterns are available with borders or Wide board plank for the more traditional look we are able to offer unbiased advice.
